3. How much notice do I need to give for a move?

Ideally, we recommend booking your move at least two to four weeks in advance to guarantee availability on your preferred date. However, we understand that plans can change quickly, so we also happily accommodate short-notice and last-minute bookings whenever our schedule allows.

4. Are my belongings insured during the move?

Yes, we offer insurance options to protect your belongings throughout the move. Our standard liability covers most items, and we also provide additional cover for high-value or fragile possessions. Just discuss your requirements with our team and we'll recommend the best coverage for you.

5. Do you provide packing materials?

Yes, we supply all the packing materials you need, including sturdy boxes, bubble wrap, packing paper, and tape. If you prefer, our trained team can also pack your belongings for you, making sure everything is secure and well protected for the journey ahead.

6. What should I do to prepare for my move?

To prepare, sort through your belongings and decide what to keep, donate, or dispose of. Start packing non-essential items early, and clearly label every box for easy unpacking. Let our team know about any fragile or valuable items that may need special handling.

For safety and health compliance, we cannot transport live animals inside our commercial removal vehicles. We strongly suggest coordinating transit for your pets via your own personal car on moving day.

15. Do you move plant pots?

Yes, we can relocate standard domestic plant pots. We kindly request that soil is relatively dry and the structural integrity of the containers is sound so they can be lifted safely onto the vehicle.

16. Do I need to put the transit bolts in my washing machine for the move?

Yes, it is highly recommended to secure the internal drum assembly using the original equipment manufacturer's transit bolts before moving day to avoid severe internal component shock.

17. Do I have to empty my fridge/freezer?

Yes, refrigeration units must be entirely emptied and defrosted prior to loading. This minimises weight variables, avoids interior leakage, and protects your property from potential water damage.

18. Do I have to empty my loft?

Yes, for insurance coverage and structural safety regulations, lofts must be completely emptied and brought down to a ground floor area before our moving crew arrives on site.

19. Do you move flammable items?

No. Due to health, safety, and operational insurance limits, we are legally prohibited from transporting dangerous or volatile compounds including gas canisters, paints, fuel tanks, or aerosol packs.

20. What packing materials do you provide?

We provide everything needed for secure packaging, including double-walled cardboard storage boxes, commercial bubble wrap, heavy-duty packing tape, archival packing paper, and specialised wardrobe boxes.

21. How long does professional packing take?

For typical 1-2 bedroom moves, our dedicated packing service is finished in approximately 3 to 6 hours. This is generally performed the day prior to transport or early on moving morning.

22. Do you pack fragile items like china and artwork?

Yes, our team is professionally trained in export wrapping techniques using tailored materials to safeguard delicate crystal, fine porcelain dinnerware, fragile mirrors, and framed artwork.

23. Can you pack my belongings while I'm at work?

Yes, we can manage this seamlessly. We just ask that clear instructions are detailed beforehand and a trusted representative or designated keyholder handles initial setup and final sign-off.

24. What's included in your £29/hr packing service?

Our packing service covers efficient hands-on expert labour by our professional moving crew from £29 per hour. All packing materials are tracked separately and billed precisely based on what you actually use.

25. Do you offer unpacking services at my new home?

Yes, we offer versatile unpacking solutions. We can unbox your items onto horizontal flat surfaces and major kitchen counters to help you settle smoothly into your new space.

26. What storage unit sizes do you offer?

We offer four storage unit sizes: Small (25 sq ft) from £18.99/week, Medium (50 sq ft) from £28.99/week, Large (100 sq ft) from £48.99/week, and Extra Large (200 sq ft) from £68.99/week. Each size is designed for different storage needs.

27. Is storage only available with removal services?

Yes, currently we only offer storage in conjunction with our removal or packing services. The storage charges cover the use of space based on size and duration, but do not include moving items in and out of storage - that's handled as part of our removal service.

28. How long can I store my belongings?

We offer both short-term and long-term storage solutions. You can store your belongings for as little as one week or for extended periods. Our flexible weekly pricing means you only pay for the time you actually need storage space.

29. What items can I store in your facilities?

You can store most household and business items including furniture, appliances, clothing, documents, and personal belongings. We cannot store perishable items, hazardous materials, illegal items, or anything with strong odours. Contact us if you're unsure about specific items.

30. Do you offer student storage solutions?

Yes! We specialise in student storage with convenient collection and delivery services. We can collect your belongings from your accommodation, store them safely during holidays, and deliver them back when you return - no need for you to leave your accommodation.

31. How do I access my stored items?

Since storage is provided alongside our removal services, access to your items is coordinated through our team. If you need items from storage before your final delivery, we can arrange retrieval as part of our service. Contact us ahead of time to schedule access when needed.
